Matt,

I have no experience with that, but I can give high praise to a similar
product... sorta...

We use CORAID's ATA over Ethernet (AoE) with SATA drives for a slick,
fast, and low cost RAID with hot swap goodness.  It works swimmingly
well.  If you need to access the data across a routed IP network then
iSCSI is your ticket.  If you just need to access it across a LAN then
AoE is a great choice.  It works with Linux, its fast, its cheap, its
reliable.  http://www.coraid.com
