[TriLUG] Linux PDA hacking

I still use my SL5500...Using NotesSync for address/cal/todo lists 
between my windows AND linux machines. I also use an MA701 for 
networking when I'm at a hotspot and use GAIM and all sorts of stuff. 
Works great. Connected with M$ Exchange at my previous employer as well.

Oh, if you want linux connectivity with your PDA, I believe you need to 
stick with either the 5500 or 6000. I know I chose the 5500 cause the 
5600 said it would NOT connect natively, and the 6000 was too exp when I 
bought mine (about 3 years ago). I still use the Sharp ROMs so I can't 
speak for the open-source ones.

Oh and you are really sick, you can use uCLinux and an old Palm. 
Heh...no apps that I could find though...but if you're sick like me, 
then that's what you do. (uCLinux on a Palm IIIxe and Handspring Visor)
