Windows Desktop Support Technician

The Department of Biology at Duke University seeks an intermediate level
Windows Desktop Support Technician. This position will support Windows
desktop machines in a large academic environment of nearly 600 machines. 

Required Technical Skills:

*	Windows OS (2000 and XP) expertise
*	Computer Hardware knowledge
*	Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory

Required Soft Skills:

*	Must be user-focused
*	Self-starter
*	Used to working with a team
*	Must be willing to follow University support procedures and policies

Desired, but not necessary for consideration:

*	Linux OS knowledge
*	SQL Server knowledge
*	Mac OS
*	Windows Server 2003
*	Printer troubleshooting/repair
