[TriLUG] Finding the chipset of my Linksys WUSB54G

Hi all,

I just bought a linksys WUSB54G USB wireless NIC and am using the ndiswrapper
adapter so that I can use the drivers that came on the CD, even though I'm
running Linux. Trouble is, the CD has drivers for versions 1, 2, 3 and 4. I
can't begin to guess hardware I have. I tried 4, and it didn't work (though I
have no idea if that's WHY it didn't work).

I tried lspci, but it doesn't list any of my USB stuff, including the wireless
NIC and my Epson scanner, which has worked perfectly for years.

So how do I find the version or chipset of my new Linksys WUSB54G wireless
network card? Anyone have any tips for troubleshooting this thing? I have
only one access point and one wireless NIC, so I can't even be sure the
access point is working (drakroam says there are no access points nearby,
even though I configured the access point to advertise its SSID.

Thanks

SteveT
