Try Sawmill. Its not free, but its pretty awesome ...and you can use it
to analyze just about anything.

If you "beta" test it for them ....they'll give you credits, which in
turn gives you the software free. I ended up getting the Enterprise
version free at the last company I worked at ...for helping them with a
few things...

Hi all!

Can anybody recommend a program that can analyze, etc., Syslog
information, sort of like awstats does for web/ftp?

Also, one branch up the tree, can anybody recommend a resource for
getting a list of the "most popular" or "preferred" tools for certain
tasks? For instance: I want to know what the best / most widely used
program for burning DVD's in Linux. I go to http://<where?> and browse
by category, and see a list of packages, rated by people and with
descriptions. Does such a site exist?

If not, maybe I should build one. :)
