yours photos are Nov 2003, mine are May 2003.... :)  cool shots
though... I have a much better zoom (300mm IS USM) and DSLR this time
around.  :)

as to the illusion... yes, that it is, but the camera should pick it
up as well... seen those sunsets on the African savanas on Discovery
or National Geographic... same idea.  :)

I think someone needs to not read the New Zealand reports when it
comes to timing in North America.  ;)
