Neither Magnus' nor David's points were mutually exclusive. Yes, TTA  
dropped the ball in getting federal funding, but why is federal  
funding even available for local projects? I agree with them both. In  
particular I agree with Magnus' point that there is no reason people  
in the rest of the country should be funding a rail system they will  
most likely never use. Better off to cut that funding completely and  
use it to reduce the federal deficit.

Vote Elfick for president in 2012! (or maybe 2016 depending on how I  
feel)
