Classic "push" vs "pull" problem.

Wikis seem to be better for information that does not change a whole 
lot, like "how-to's" and past meeting minutes.  If I need the info, I 
can PULL the most recent copy down.

Wikis do not seem that well-suited for things that change often, 
"status" information.  Two very good recent examples are the job 
postings and the lunch plans.  Mailing lists (or forums with 
subscriptions) do a better job of PUSHING this type of info out.
