it's worth noting that both kramden and purplelephant both install windows 
as part of their "fixing" older hardware.  i'm sure they both serve a noble 
goal, but i personally would never give away hardware to any organization 
that turns around and uses it for running proprietary software.  not when 
FOSS is available.
