P.S.  They are kind of opposite extremes too, aren't they?  I mean, when
I installed Ubuntu, even my wireless Just Worked (TM), and that was like
2 or 3 years ago when that stuff was pretty hard to get to work in other
distros.  Gentoo?  Well, you just have to love tinkering :)
