The "N" would mean it has built-in ethernet capability. DT stands for Duplexing with an extra Tray. They are very good printers, but you'll have to buy parts and toner from ebay or a third-party supplier as HP no longer supports them AFAIK. Also, the toner is pretty expensive. I would suggest you use Rhinotek cartridges as they are just as good as OEM, but at half the price.

Well, I'm not even sure if it is a 4550 or a 4550 DTN or the exact model #.
I'll get that tonight when I get home.  I do know that it does NOT (repeat:
NOT) have the network card installed in the back.  I'll take a few photos
and put them on-line tonight.
