There is a kook in England who has fixated on the word "radiation", as
in: Wireless routers give off "radiation"... Radiation in the sense that
light or radio signals are radiation.

He recently helped the BBC 1 do a Special on this silent
potential-unstudied-danger to our children. They went to a school to
show how much "radiation" is in the typical classroom (due to the
schools wireless router), but even the 4th graders knew enough science
to laugh at them - at which point the teacher politely kicked them out.

The show actually made it to air: 10% science (shaken vigorously), 30%
paranoia, 30% confusion, and 30% emotional appeals ("for the sake of the
children"). If the presenters had all worn tin-foil hats it would have
been hilarious.... Unfortunately, they didn't, and they were serious, so
it was absurdly tragic.
