[TriLUG] ubuntu 7.04 desktop - caps lock key not working

I don't know what to do to help, but this has to be one of the
strangest linux desktop issues I've ever read about. You know, I'll
have to check on one of my linux boxes at work to see if caps lock
works there. I don't think I've ever tried it.
