In my last long winded discussion with TW, the manger told me:

"Based off industry standards, and what users wanted... is what we based
our speeds off of".

I had a 20 meg circuit play with in Japan back in the day.  Korean DSL
speeds were fantastic.  I wish RR would kick up the speed around here.
I can't see why we are still stuck with 3m/384k.
