Same thing in CT. We had a choice (later) between OOL / FIOS / or
SBC/YAHOO DSL ...all of which were smoking fast!

Because they can get away with it.

In Philly there was stiff competition between the DSL providers,
Comcast, and RCN which is why a couple of times a year my cable modem
speed would get bumped up.
