1a. Photo management software, I use a combination of scripts and a
somewhat customized album.pl (http://perl.bobbitt.ca/album/) mostly
because I just want to keep things in easily copied files with no
data/metadata in dbs, but there are various other management packages
(f-spot [http://f-spot.org/Main_Page] looks pretty good).
