Yeah, from what I've been reading, its basically not going to happen (in Windows). In the end I get down to squashfs ...which is a showstopper.

I'll save myself the pain and agony, and remaster it on my Gentoo box when I get home tonight. I was hoping Windows could hook me up... but I guess I was wrong.

I'm guessing it's possible, but how painful is it vs. doing it under linux? Dunno if anybody can answer your question without more info.

What liveCD is this?

I found editing the Ubuntu liveCD a bit clumsy, but totally doable.
