No, I don't see any possible way they would put this on Apple TV for a number of reasons. IMO, Apple TV is pretty silly anyway considering you can spend a little more and get a Mac Mini which does everything Apple TV does and so much more in the same small package.

Thanks for the heads-up on the Mac Mini discontinuation. I'd love to have one, but I'm not sure it's in the budget right now. Anyone know where I can get one at a discount (there's always ebay I suppose.)?

I am intrigued by this Joost of which you speak.  I spend many a weekend at
the "away home" and it would be very handy to leave the old G4 mini plugged
into the TV out there and not have a cable bill.  Heck, if it works as well
as you it would be nice to have one at home too.

But if you want a mac mini hurry up, they are rumored to be on the
discontinued block very shortly.  Has Joost been ported to the Apple TV
yet?  Now I would finally have a reason to purchase one.  Or two.
