[TriLUG] trilug-ontopic@ proposal Re: Why don't people come to TriLUG meetings

I would hate to be a moderator. I get hundreds of emails per day and have
email in my inbox dating back to February including a couple from Vint Cerf,
the founder of the Internet. There is no way I could take on a task of
filtering TriLUG email in the role of a moderator and suspect others might
feel the same way.

I enjoy the banter and opportunity to help others or to have others help me.
When the flames heat up, I'm perfectly capable of hitting the delete key and
expect others are as well.

I see no need to change.

As for coming to the meetings, well, I'd rather be home with my family.
Doing something with Linux and open source applications is more meaningful
to me than hearing someone talk about it.

Regards,

Jim
