What disk 'wipe' programs are available for linux that can be run from the
command line on a drive volume? [[ I'm wanting to do it from the command
line so that once the drives are auto-detected / plugged in the wipe can be
started. They'll be hooked up through ata to usb converters so that > 4
drives can be handled at any given time. ]]

I'm thinking 'dd if=/dev/rand' multiple times might be sufficient but I do
want to maintain what they're currently using ( supposedly dod complient 3
pass - dban 'Derek's Boot & Nuke).
