[TriLUG] Asterisk help

I'm trying to set up asterisk 1.4.0 using a vitelity account using SIP 
that I just got for some voip testing.  I'm having some problems that I 
need some help with.  Here's my configuration...

vitelity ---> linux firewall using iptables --> linux asterisk server

I have port forwarded ports 5060, 5061 to my asterisk server.

I can't seem to get my asterisk to register with vitelity.  I'm just 
getting registration time outs in my log.  Since I'm new to this, I'm 
sure that I have some configuration wrong.  I've googled for some 
examples, but haven't found anything comprehensive enough to just copy.

Any help would be appreciated.
