Not to be left out, so will OpenNMS:

http://www.opennms.org/index.php/Syslogd

It will convert syslog messages into OpenNMS-style events. You can  
keep the standard events based on RFC3164 or you can use regex's to  
create your own events. Once in OpenNMS you can create notices,  
reduce duplicate events via alarms, perform automations, etc.
