[TriLUG] mail server plus a side question

Every network technician I've ever had come on site either at work or at home has always used www.speakeasy.net/speedtest to test bandwidth. I tend to think they are all comparable, but there are many factors involved in getting true bandwidth speed (e.g., time of day, amount of traffic on the link when test is conducted, number of hops between end nodes, cable vs. dsl, network congestion, routing equipment used along the path, etc.) so you'll likely see slightly different numbers every time you check.

Lance,

Thanks for the links. I have used the flash method at dslreports. Do
 you
think there is one method better than another?
