For our February meeting, our own Bill Cowan will be presenting

 An Insider's Look at Inside-Out Objects
and Related Class Builders, Mainly Object::InsideOut Module

Current outline for the February 2008 talk:

   1. Internal view of objects -- Class::Std and Object::InsideOut structures.
   2. Benefits of inside-out objects and features of class builders.
   3. Quick review of inside-out class builder modules:
          * Class::Std and Class::Std::Fast,
          * Object::InsideOut,
          * Class::InsideOut,
          * Class::Simple,
          * MooseX::InsideOut
   4. Object::InsideOut module in detail with code examples.
   5. Personal preferences for choice of class builder.

Suggested, but optional reading:

    Chapter 15 and 16 of Perl Best Practices by Damian Conway,

or

    If you do not have the book, the DESCRIPTION section of the POD
for Class::Std has some information from the book. (See sections on
"Introduction" and "Automating Inside-Out classes" within
DESCRIPTION.)

We are relatively near Crossroads on the edge of Raleigh and Cary. Our
driveway is very near the intersection of Jones Franklin Road and
US1/Hwy64. On the map link above, click on the blue flag, and then
click 'To Here' to get directions. The Google Maps directions get you
to the end of Capital Center Drive; I have drawn in the small
additional line for getting into our parking lot.

>From RTP, take I-40 to the exit for US-1 North (also the Inner
Beltline here). Take the next exit (Jones Franklin Road) and turn
right at the end of the ramp. Take the immediate next right (Capital
Center Drive). You'll follow Capital Center Drive until it ends. Turn
right onto Situs Court. Turn right at the small round-a-bout into our
parking lot.
