[TriLUG] Updating Ubuntu

All,

Thanks for the input. It appears that my best bet is:
1. backup up all my data
2. do fresh install of new ubuntu
     a. create second hard drive for /home and all my data
     b. perhaps partition second drive for /home and /backup?
