[TriLUG] Dell wireless

Thanks for the suggestions, but I am on hold right now as I am having memory problems.  (The computer, not me).  Dell is shipping me a new hard drive and 2 DIMM sticks.  But, they gave me a contact that she says will help me with the wireless.

Should prove interesting.

Ahh... you say you called Dell, but did you call the special, "I have a
Linux computer from Dell" support number?

866-622-1947

It's a hidden number to this day.

They'll be able to help with hardware diagnostics under Ubuntu.

Calling the main number is useless, as those monkeys only sling windows.

No good.

had a few minutes while waiting for a flight. Hardly conducive to a
comprehensive effort. Since then he has been kind enough to send me a few other
emails to suggest different things.
