[TriLUG] Introduction

It has been since early 1990's since I lived there and had the pleasure
of eating at Heckys. I could only eat one sandwich and would always get
two plus stop on the way home to get Tums. Now, what is the next best
thing here in Dixieland?

I've had Hecky's (now Hickory's BBQ).  Close, but not quite there.
I prefer true St. Louis style -- more molasses and a touch of citrus
(orange puree?).  From Evanston head west to Glenview -- there's a
real good barbecue place on Golf Road; a better one southwest of there
in Wheaton off of Butterfield and Naperville roads.  But really from
Evanston, head south to Smoque BBQ in Irving Park -- now that's
barbecue!
