And unless it's absolutely necessary, I'd stick with SATA instead of
SAS.

All,

We need to get a storage unit that will be directly attached to our
backup server, acting as a DAS/NAS.  We would probably come in around
5TB, and would want the ability to scale to 10-15TB of SATA (150,
300?) or SAS in a RAID5 configuration.  A hotspare would be an added
bonus.  Any recommendations for reasonably priced storage?  Been
looking at some traditional HP StorageWorks and Promise units.
