[TriLUG] Netbooks screen resolution

My old 7" Asus Eee PC 701 had 800x480.
My new 9" Asus Eee PC 900 has 1024x600.

The 7" model was great for SSH, and would pass for light web browsing.
The 9" model is great for both.  I do scroll up and down a lot, but seldom
need to scroll side-to-side.

At the moment, I have it hooked to an external keyboard, mouse and monitor,
and the only noticeable difference from my normal PC is the occasional
firefox pause as it blocks while writing my browsing history to flash.
