Microsoft has DART their recovery toolkit.  It's really Winternals stuff
that they bought from Mark Russonivich.  ERD commander, with a Windows PE
instance.  You will have to chase down the RAID card drivers, but once
that's done you can boot the CD and have it mount the disks, start a
network, copy the data off to a share on another computer.


Very slick, I don't know about costs, or how you get it, I'd contact the MS
office in Cary if you don't have an EA or the like.
