The motherboard that I have tried that did NOT work was an XFX 
board.  I called XFX support and the support guys told me that they 
did not test Centos or any other Linux OS on their boards.  Plus, no 
one in the support team knew anything about Linux.

Do you have a link?  I walked all thru Redhat's site, the only thing 
that I could find was a very lame HCL page that had maybe a dozen HP 
devices listed.
