I am also paying around $170 a month for TW cable with dvr, phone,
and internet. It was a bit lower ($120 i think) when we had the intro
special. We called up to see what kind of deal we could get when the
intro special ended. They said we could get a special "lock in deal"
at $150 a month. It seems lock in means we agree to stay with them
for 2 years and have an early termination fee if we choose to quit
before the 2 years are up. They tried to make it sound like it was a
price lock guarantee but it seemed to me that I was the one being
locked in. That deal made me mad so I did not agree to it.
But I still have not been able to find a better deal anywhere else.
So how do you get past the front line guys to talk to someone who
will give you a reasonable deal?
