This is so true. I did it last week and had it dropped from $54.95 to
$34.95 for the next 12 months. No contract, just month to month billing.

Its easy. call them and ask about the increase. Once they explain, say
that you will not pay and will move to another service provider. They
will ask you if you want to talk to their "retention" dept where they
will offer you a better deal.
