[TriLUG] using sshd tunnelling for dns request

I use ssh to proxy through my Dreamhost server.

Just:

# ssh user at xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -D 8080

Then change the network settings in (browser) to use a socks proxy. Enter
127.0.0.1 as
the address, set port to 8080, and voila ... done and done.

Switched over to it just now to write this email.
