This is among the reasons that I recommended that Chip's son investigate 
and learn who controls the network. If somebody is forcing you to use a 
particular DNS server, they probably want to watch what you do and 
control what you see. In some cases, this is somebody who has your back 
covered. In other cases, they might mean to exploit the information or 
even cause you harm. In any case, you're better off if you know who it 
is, find out what their motives are, and assess how competent they are.
