Here's some of the stuff I like the most (not including games):
- Wapedia - nice interface to WikiPedia. I'm amazed how often I use this.
- Home++ as a replacement for the stock home app
- Quick Profiles - makes it easy to mass-change your settings based on your
situation (e.g. set volume, screen timeout, wi-fi, ringer for meeting,
outdoors, driving, etc).
- MotoTorch - home-screen widget to turn on the camera flash LED to use
as a flashlight.
- CalWidget - put your Google calendar events on the home screen
- gTasks - put a "to do" list on the home screen, syncs with Google docs
- GDocs Notepad - good for keeping notes, syncs with Google docs
- Google Listen - podcast app
- OI Safe - secure storage (passwords, etc)
- Ultrachron - stopwatch / timer
- ConnectBot - SSH console
- WiFi Analyzer - check out all the available networks, their signal
strength, frequency, channel ID, etc.
- Y5 Battery Saver - among other things, automatically checks for wifi
networks periodically and turns off the radio when there are no know
networks to connect to
- RealCalc - great scientific calculator like a classic HP
- GPS Tracker - you can remotely turn on tracking of your device and
locate it via their website
- Wave Secure - let you remotely lock the device (free lifetime accounts
available until the end of March, IIRC)
