Hello, I 'm Brian Phelps. You might remember me from such fine presentations
as "Beagle Board Overview and Demo" and "Fun With Fast Fourier Transforms
and Other Algorithms ", well not really the last one.

HD Video capture is a bit limited on Linux so I decided to try to fix that.
Especially for USB.

http://www.opencircuits.com/OpenHDCapture

Open as in probably GPLv3

I assume most of you guys are local and may be able to meet up and actually
work on it in person.

I also will need help designing board layout, programming drivers, RTL, and
simulation. The project's git host is at:
git clone git://
openhdcapture.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/openhdcapture/openhdcapture(read-only)
although there isn't much there yet.

Yeah I don't actually have to get help but it would be nice considering I
have a day job, wife, kids, etc. The project will have a much better end
product and (hopefully) be done sooner w/ more features if I have some help.

If anyone has an SF account and would like to contribute I can add you to
the project.

I have a friend, Chris, who works for Maxim in Texas and is helping on some
of the USB portion of the project.

If you like it and you wanna help, email me. If you don't like it then fork
it ;)
