Okay, okay: poor joke research.
Let me rephrase: Whenever I've used Windows XP, it was as slow as a
brick obeying Newton's First Law of Motion (with no outside forces
acting on the brick). How's that?
My experiences with Vista and Windows 7 have been similar.
