Here I though I was the only one. When an HD dies or becomes obsolete, I put 
on my safety glasses, grab my 20oz hammer, and take the drive out to the 
driveway (where else would you shred a drive but the driveway). I don't quit 
pounding until the circuit board's destroyed and no piece of the platters is 
more than 1 square inch.
