[TriLUG] Need CAT5 or CAT5E -where to find least expensive locally?

*Possible cable solution....total cable run always less than 300 feet.
Purchase 2 100 foot cables and one cable connector, plug together, 
equals 200 and 13 feet run.
The connector electrically is 13 feet long. Hope this thought or 
variation will help. Cable runs
longer than 300 feet will give "flaky" results.

By the way who says it must be cable (hard wired). Wireless could also 
be a solution.

It's been a while since I've done any real cable work, so take this 
suggestion with a grain of salt.
Not all computer solutions are "cast" in stone!!! Just another thought.
