[TriLUG] alternate ways to reduce spam (was: OT: Google advertising for spammers?)

Oh yeah, I use procmail, which would be one locally hosted linux equivalent
option for directing messages to different folders (or trash).  So to
expand, my username-cathulu at mydomain.com would be directed to a cathulu mail
folder via procmail.  :)
