[TriLUG] whitelist phone?

I turn mine off. Works like a charm.

Seriously, though, I use an autoattendant front end on my phone system
so unless folks dial ext. 111 and announce their name, they go to voice
mail. On my cell phone, I really do leave ringer off most of the time.

If sales folks are smart and sincere enough to dial an extension and to
say who they are, I take the call and show them the same respect I want
when I make sales calls. When they start reading off a script, I let
them hear the dial tone when I hang up.

Subject: [TriLUG] whitelist phone?

I am just asking to ask. Is there a phone or caller id device that has a
whitelist feature available? I am so tired of telemarketers.
