[TriLUG] joomla semi-expert needed

i'm sure it's an older version of joomla.  i'm not particularly 
interested in "fixing" it, right now all i want to do is get it to run 
on another server (mine), then i'll set everything to read-only and 
leave it be while we start over from scratch using phpbb or something 
for the revamp.

i've copied the content and two mysql databases that i'm told are needed 
but it's clearly not working as it should, and i don't know enough about 
joomla or php to figure out what's wrong.  that's what i could use a 
helping hand with (and i'm willing to pay for sufficiently talented help).
