I tried one of their newer boxes, the Telo, a few months ago, but
returned it because the voice latency was too high.  It was pretty nice
otherwise, though my old Sony/TiVo was almost never able to dial-out
through it.  I'm now using TimeWarner's digital phone, which works well
and doesn't exhibit the above issues, but of course costs a lot more per
month.
