[TriLUG] Question on AT&T DSL Extreme 6.0

Can't speak about the DSL stuff, but I just called TimeWarner yesterday and got my bill dropped to $34.95.  They are running a promotion - 7Mbps cable connection for $34.95/mo (including taxes).  Call  1-866-489-2669 and speak with someone from the Retention department.  If you are not on a current promotion, they will switch you immediately.  If you are on a promotion (like I was), speak with a manager and plead your case.  I got my bill dropped from $49.95 to $34.95 for 12mos after negotiating with a "supervisor".
