[TriLUG] Recommendations for Linux clustering products

Actually, I did not look at the CentOS Cluster Suite tool as I thought it was only available when purchasing a RHEL subscription.

I am currently looking at DRBD and uCARP as this seems to be exactly what I am looking for.  Essentially, you have an active and passive server connected back-to-back with an ethernet cable, and your data volume (/mnt, /export, etc) is continually synchronized between the parter pairs.  Using DRBD and uCARP, you can have an HA cluster for NFS, MySQL, Apache, etc up and running very quickly.  And, it appears MySQL officially supports DRBD clustering.  Here are some good links:
