[TriLUG] preparing for this week's meeting

The December TriLUG meeting is rapidly approaching.

The venue is SPLAT SPACE in Durham.  NOT RED HAT!!

The topic is "Appliance Workshop", and it will be a "petting zoo"
of different Linux-based single-purpose devices.  That is, we will
set up demos wherever we can, and folks can go from table to
table to see what others have set up.

Got an old PC sitting around the house?  Turn it into a dedicated
appliance!  Or better yet... it's 2010, run the appliance in a virtual
machine!

The sign-up sheet is looking kind of bare.

I am preparing my demo of backuppc.  In fact, setting it up today
in a VM has shown me that it's even easier now than it was when
I first set it up at "the oven place" (TMIO) in 2006.  I think it'll be
pretty cool to see, and maybe it'll inspire folks to go home and
start doing regular backups for themselves!
