Full Time Java Programmer

Physicians Pharmacy Alliance is seeking a Full-Time Java Programmer to 
support its rapidly expanding pharmacy business. The Java programmer is 
responsible for developing and completing simultaneous projects as 
assigned by Chief IT Officer. This is an onsite position based out of 
our Cary headquarters.

Candidate must be a highly skilled Linux Java Programmer able to:
Develop production Java server side applications to support internal 
Pharmacy Operations     using Servlet and JSP's running on Linux servers
Develop stand-alone Java Swing applications for Touch Screens running on 
Linux workstations
Perform additional responsibilities as business conditions necessitate.

Position Requirements:
Experience with Java Servlet and JSP programming using Apache Tomcat
Experience with HTML and Javascript for both Firefox and Internet 
Explorer environments
Experience with Linux on both the server and desktop environment
Experience with Java Swing application development
Experience with the Eclipse Java IDE Tool
Experience with Java access to a SQL relational database using JDBC
Knowledge of Perl CGI web programming
Ability to meet schedule 8:30 am to 5:30pm, Monday thru Friday with 
occasional nights and weekends to meet project demands

Valued Knowledge:
J2EE Java programming experience
Ajax experience
Experience with Open Source frameworks for Java web development
Multi-threaded application development


Education/Licensing: A Bachelors degree and 4+ years experience
