I'm trying to help find volunteers to help out an open source C/C++ project. The project is Einstein - an Apple Newton emulator. It currently runs on desktops and iOS devices, and we're looking to port it to Android and generally optimize performance.

while not exactly linux-specific, the emulator does run on linux/X11, and the devs are looking for help optimizing for speed, as well as starting an android port.
