Ya' got me?  Presumably the OP's attempt at drumming up support by
associating with an ambitious attempt to reinvigorate local broadband?
 To the best of my knowledge, the Google Fiber project was
muni/corporate agnostic.  Ie. Google didn't care if municipalities or
corporations picked up the idea and ran with it, as long as someone
(or even everyone) built on those trials and widely deployed
substantially faster fiber-based internet to the home.
